Job summary

Responsibilities include operating floor scrubbers and vacuums, disposing of biohazard waste and linens, replenishing supplies, and promptly responding to cleaning requests from healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience with infection-control practices and chemical safety.
• Acute healthcare work experience with heavy equipment such as buffers, extractors, wide area vacuums and wet vacuums.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas according to established protocols.
• Follow strict cleaning and disinfection procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Collect and dispose of waste, including biohazardous materials and linens, following proper procedures.
• Replenish supplies in patient rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from healthcare staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including heavy-duty machinery and specialized tools.
