Responsibilities

• Major Duties: Performs floor maintenance and wall washing
• Cleans doors, doorframes, baseboard corners and edges, and stairwells
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, vacuuming, and extracting carpets
• Utilizes pressure washers and heavy industrial cleaning equipment as needed
• Maintains and tunes equipment; changes attachments for best results
• Empties trash, replaces liners, and handles waste and recycling
• Cleans rest rooms and showers; disinfection and deodorization of fixtures
• Replenishes supplies and restocks textile closets and cabinets
• Moves furniture and assists in patient rooms; bed-making services
• Cleans mattresses, bedframes, and bedside equipment
• Removes soiled textiles to designated areas; transports clean textiles
• Cleans refrigerators, storage cabinets, and kitchen areas; cleans glass and windows
• Cleans blinds and replaces curtains; cleans needles boxes as needed
• Periodically cleans non-critical medical equipment
• May supervise or guide Compensated Work Therapy workers
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am to 3:30pm; continuous walking and physical tasks
