Job summary

Dignity Health - St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to maintain clean, safe spaces across the campus. You will clean patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas following infection-control standards.

Responsibilities include operating floor scrubbers and vacuums, disposing of biohazard waste and linens, replenishing supplies, and promptly responding to cleaning requests from healthcare staff.

Qualifications

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Environmental Services Tech, you will actively perform a variety of cleaning tasks necessary to maintain and improve the appearance and sanitary conditions of all campuses.

Every day, you will clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas following hospital infection-control standards. Safely handle, transport, and dispose of bio-hazard waste, regular trash, and linens according to regulatory guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and disinfectant sprayers.

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas according to established protocols.

Pay Range

$25.00 - $26.11 /hour
