Job summary

Ephraim McDowell Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform housekeeping across the Medical Center, including restrooms, waiting areas, offices, and clinical areas. This role involves operating vacuum cleaners, upholstery shampooers, and related equipment with a focus on safety and patient-centered care.

You will complete daily tasks, support department operations, and participate in organization-wide projects.

Qualifications

• Experience performing housekeeping in a clinical or medical center setting.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned workload by end of each shift.
• Operate and maintain department equipment safely and orderly.
• Assist with special projects as directed by supervisor.
• Access medication/nourishment room as authorized for cleaning.
• Support efficient department operation and professional growth.
• Uphold patient-family centered care concepts in practice.
• Contribute to shared governance across the Organization.
