Job summary

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and some housekeeping experience. Computer skills are helpful; Good customer service and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
• Ability to use a computer is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident areas by following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Perform cleaning tasks including emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Assist in laundry areas and use technology applications as needed.
• Wear appropriate PPE and keep storage and equipment clean and organized.
• Work hours may include holidays, weekends, and overtime depending on location.
