Job summary

UNC Lenoir Health Care, part of UNC Health, is seeking an Environmental Services team lead for a full-time day shift at LENOIR MEM. You will manage frontline staff and coordinate with healthcare teams to maintain a clean, safe environment throughout the facility.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 12 months of supervisory experience, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patients, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Grad/GED is minimum.
• Minimum of 12 months as team leader/supervisor/manager.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated at all levels in understanding our customer needs and requests.
• Verbal and written office skills (as attached).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, timely, professional communications between/among all our customers, internal and external in meeting our mission of providing a clean and safe environment and outstanding customer service at all times.
• Patients and families, associates, other departments’ personnel are served in providing our services. Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of the department and hospital. Ensures that contacts with all other healthcare team members is friendly, helpful and courteous at all times.
