Job summary

UNC Health is seeking an Environmental Services professional to provide high quality, timely communications for customers and staff, contributing to a clean and safe hospital environment and outstanding service across the facility.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a minimum high school education, and at least 12 months of leadership experience. Work is onsite in the Lenoir MEM location, with a standard 40-hour week.

• Experience: Minimum of 12 months as team leader/supervisor/manager.
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written office skills; proficient in using office machines and basic computing tools.

Summary

Provide high quality, timely, professional, efficient communications between/among all our customers, internal and external in meeting our mission of providing a clean and safe environment and outstanding customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

Patients and families, associates, other departments’ personnel are served in providing our services. Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of the department and hospital. Ensures that contacts with all other healthcare team members is friendly, helpful and courteous at all times.
