Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Specialist for the second shift to maintain cleanliness across patient and non-clinical areas.

You will prepare cleaning carts, handle chemicals, PPE, and equipment, and ensure safe, sanitary environments in a busy hospital setting. The role requires good communication, the ability to follow directions, and preferred experience in environmental services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Set up cleaning cart with proper cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Collect equipment and wet floor signs for tasks and projects.
• Clean assigned patient rooms, clinical and non-clinical areas, and corridors; perform floor care (mopping, sweeping, stripping, waxing, buffing).
• Clean and store equipment after use; report maintenance needs and recharge equipment.
• Know spill kit use and proper chemical dilution.
• Move furniture and store supplies; assist with project work.
• Assist engineering with environmental cleanups and off-site projects as directed.
