Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and follow written work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and ensures all assigned areas are cleaned and in good repair; report problems.
• Cleans patient rooms, exam rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, OR rooms, offices and equipment following procedures.
• Removes trash from all areas and replenishes supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap).
• Makes beds in patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
• Maintains and reports on cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Moves equipment, furniture, and other items as needed.
• Follows safety and sanitation regulations.
