Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to perform a variety of cleaning tasks across patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other areas. Duties include using floor care equipment, hanging curtains, moving furniture, and preparing spaces for meetings.

You will disinfect furniture and equipment, maintain infection control, set up for events, and report maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Prior work experience not required.
• Verbal and written communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Changes and hangs drapes and curtains as needed.
• Cleans and disinfects furniture, wheelchairs, shower chairs, and other equipment.
• Maintains infection control through cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
