Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Services Lead to supervise day-to-day EVS operations in a hospital setting. You will plan staffing, assign tasks, and ensure compliance with EVS procedures while maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisory staff, monitoring duties, and communicating with patients and staff. The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and a focus on patient satisfaction within a health care

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• 3 years experience with at least one in Housekeeping.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead co-workers in the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services department.
• Plan ahead with supervisory staff on assignments and activities.
• Verify completion of duties by EVS staff according to procedures.
• Assist in scheduling EVS staff and adjust daily schedules for proper staffing.
• Liaise between EVS and customers/staff as needed.
• Coordinate projects and room setups; inspect high-touch areas.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; train on new methods.
