Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas, and service areas while providing excellent customer service. The role supports hospital cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in a high-reliability organization.

Work shift is day, with a scheduled 40 hours per week, within the Environmental Services department. No degree is required, with HS diploma/GED preferred for those over 18; eligibility for younger applicants under permits is noted.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• 18-year-old individuals in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.

Responsibilities

• Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance tasks from system or schedule and completes them.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment safely; reports any issues through the proper channels.
• Stocking of carts and areas with supplies including linen distribution as needed.
• Willing to take on other duties to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards.
• Demonstrates high level of customer service to patients and all customers; supports safety, quality, and efficiency in duties.
