Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring 1st shift and 2nd shift Part-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH. The role covers cleaning and maintaining order on client premises within a health care campus.

Daily responsibilities include cleaning rooms, lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other areas; dusting, polishing, and transferring waste; and replenishing supplies. High school diploma or GED and post-offer screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
