Job summary

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services teammate to create a sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment. You will perform cleaning, floor care, trash removal, linen changes, and surface sanitizing across assigned areas.

This full-time weekend role requires completing tasks under limited supervision, handling emergencies and spills, stocking supplies, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with teammates to ensure high reliability and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No licensure/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, floor care, and project assignments within area of responsibility and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in designated areas.
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores it properly after shift.
• Responds rapidly to emergencies, spills, and other special needs; assists team members as needed.
