Encompass Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe hospital environment across all patient care areas. You’ll use cleaning equipment like vacuums and floor polishers, follow safety guidelines, and work independently to meet daily standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• May be required to work weekdays/weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across hospital areas according to quality standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, floor polishers and other tools.
• Handle general office equipment and keep a tidy work environment.
• Communicate clearly and work independently to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Follow guidelines for handling hazardous materials and exposure prevention.
