Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to support patient areas, linen distribution and floor care throughout the facility, including housekeeping and janitorial duties.

This full-time, on-site role offers shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with 8/40 hours; weekend rotation every other; on-call not required. The position operates under the SEIU CBA; applicants must meet lifting, floor care and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with stripping, waxing, buffing of surgery/operating room floors according to AORN and Practice Guidelines for Healthcare Environmental Cleaning standards, required (Surgical Services only).
• Experience with floor scrubber/buffing equipment, required (Surgical Services only).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas according to TCMC standards.
• Maintain a safe environment and proper use of wet floor signs.
• Collect bio waste and trash throughout the facility and dispose properly.
• Collect and distribute linen.
