Job summary

Sharp HealthCare Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean facility. You will collect bio waste and trash, distribute linen, and perform floor care and housekeeping across patient care areas, offices and public spaces.

Must be physically able to lift 75 lbs, push/pull 750 lbs, and perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing and buffing with appropriate equipment; CA driver’s license may be required for PM shifts. This role is aligned with SEIU.

Qualifications

• Experience with stripping, waxing, buffing of floors in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with floor scrubber/buffing equipment in surgical services.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Collect bio waste and trash throughout the facility and dispose of it properly.
• Distribute linen and maintain floors according to standards.
• Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties in patient care areas, offices and public spaces.
