Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking an Environmental Services Support Aide to ensure clean, safe conditions across the facility. The role covers waste collection, linen distribution, floor care, and janitorial duties in patient care, admin offices, and public areas.

Qualified applicants should have high school education, relevant housekeeping experience, and the ability to lift heavy objects while following infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience stripping, waxing and maintaining operating room floors per standards.
• Experience with floor scrubber/buffing equipment (Surgical Services).
• Must have a CA driver’s license (PM shift) within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collect bio waste and trash throughout the facility.
• Dispose of in proper receptacles.
• Collect and distribute linen.
• Maintain and clean floors according to standards and schedule.
• Move patient beds and relocate furniture and equipment.
