Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. The role includes transporting linens and waste, replenishing supplies, and maintaining equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The position requires heavy physical tasks, ability to lift 25 lbs, and the use of bed tracking and Kronos systems. Evening shift, onsite, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work from a ladder to hang or remove drapes.
• Stands, walks, stoops, bends, lifts and performs very physical tasks for entire shift.
• Must be able to practice good body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas of the hospital/care center according to policies and procedures.
• Transports linens and waste streams according to procedure.
• Replenishes linen and stock supplies to appropriate par levels.
• Operates and maintains equipment according to procedure and stores equipment after use.
