Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to clean all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures. This full-time onsite role supports patient care by maintaining a safe, sanitary environment and coordinating with the Environmental Services team.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 25 lbs, and the capacity to work the evening shift for 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, and bending for long shifts.
• Ability to read and follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas of the hospital/care center according to policies and procedures.
• Transports linens and waste streams according to procedure.
• Replenishes linen and stock supplies to par levels.
• Demonstrates good time management and maintains equipment.
• Operates and maintains equipment and stores it after use.
• Uses bed tracking and Kronos systems; participates in department and hospital functions.
• Trains and instructs new hires and performs other duties as assigned.
