Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care hires an Environmental Services Aide to clean all areas of the hospital in accordance with policies and procedures. This role supports hospital operations and patient safety through meticulous cleaning and sanitation.

Key duties include dusting, disinfecting, restocking supplies, transporting linens and waste, and maintaining equipment. The position requires physical stamina and adherence to body mechanics, with day shifts and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work from a ladder to hang or remove drapes.
• Stands, walks, stoops, bends, lifts and performs very physical tasks for entire shift.
• Prefers high school diploma or GED and ability to understand oral/written English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures.
• Transports linens and waste streams according to procedure.
• Replenishes linens and stock to par levels.
• Maintains equipment and demonstrates good time management.
• Operates and cleans equipment; uses bed tracking and Kronos systems.
