Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary hospital environment in Newburgh, IN. You will help create a healing setting by performing cleaning duties and assisting in maintaining orderly spaces in line with regulations and quality standards.

The role involves using vacuums, floor polishers, dusters and other tools; may require varying shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings or nights.

Qualifications

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across all hospital areas according to established quality standards and regulations.
• Experience in housekeeping preferred.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various equipment such as high dusters, vacuums, mops, floor polishers, and other tools to perform cleaning duties.

• Follow established guidelines and procedures for handling hazardous materials and potential exposure situations.
