Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe hospital environment. You will help create a healing environment and support our quality standards while complying with regulations.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently. Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, evenings, or nights as needed, with benefits and opportunities for growth within a national inpatient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across hospital areas according to established quality standards and regulations.
• Utilize cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, floor polishers, and other tools.
• Handle general office equipment and keep work areas tidy and organized.
• Demonstrate good communication and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Follow guidelines for handling hazardous materials and potential exposure situations.
