Job summary

Exalt Health is seeking an Environmental Service Aide for our new rehabilitation hospital in Wildwood, Florida. You will clean patient rooms, public areas, gyms, offices, and kitchens to maintain a safe, sanitary environment while protecting patient privacy.

Follow HIPAA, wear PPE, report maintenance needs, and work as part of a dedicated hospital team to support high-quality patient care. This role requires physical stamina and a service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare or hospitality cleaning is desirable.
• Ability to speak and communicate English effectively in verbal and written form.
• Reading comprehension adequate to perform duties; attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, restrooms, public areas, and staff offices.
• Clean and disinfect exercise areas and gym surfaces for a safe environment.
• Maintain kitchen surfaces and sanitize equipment per guidelines.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors; manage waste and recycling properly.
• Monitor supplies and report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE; protect patient confidentiality under HIPAA.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
