Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an Env Svcs Worker/Housekeeper to maintain a clean and aseptic hospital environment across patient and non-patient areas. You will sweep, mop, disinfect rooms, and assist with specialized cleaning tasks while following safety guidelines.

A high school diploma is preferred; no prior experience is required. This role supports a culture of exemplary patient care and professional excellence in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of English language; able to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Must adhere to hospital safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service areas in hospital according to area assignments: sweeping, mopping, dusting and disinfecting rooms.
• Assist with tasks like wall/window cleaning, light fixtures, upholstery, curtains, vents, restrooms, and carpet extraction.
• Work under supervision, maintain professional demeanor, and ensure safety of patients and staff.
