Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo is seeking an Env Svcs Worker/Housekeeper to maintain a clean, aseptic hospital environment, with duties across patient and non-patient areas. You will sweep, mop, disinfect, and perform tasks such as wall/window washing, upholstery cleaning, curtain changes, and restroom sanitation while upholding service excellence and safety standards.

Qualifications

• LANGUAGE: Ability to understand and communicate in English both verbally and in writing. A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: Previous experience not required
• TRAINING: 1-3
• LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: None

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing areas in the hospital per area assignments: sweeping, mopping, dusting and disinfecting all rooms.
• Participating in project work such as wall washing, window washing, cleaning light fixtures, upholstery, curtains and drapes, vents, restrooms, floor stripping, carpet extraction.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks, follow supervision, and work with due consideration to patients, staff and visitors.
• Report unsafe conditions to management immediately.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
