Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking an Env Svcs Worker/Housekeeper to maintain a clean, aseptic hospital environment across patient and non-patient areas. You will perform sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and ancillary cleaning tasks while upholding safety and service standards.

This role requires flexibility to handle routine tasks with attention to patients, staff, and visitors. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service areas in hospital per area assignments (patient and non-patient).
• Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect rooms according to standards.
• Perform tasks such as wall/window cleaning, vents, light fixtures, upholstery, curtains, and drapes maintenance.
• Assist with restrooms cleaning, floor stripping, carpet extraction, and related duties.
• Work under supervision, follow safety policies, and report unsafe conditions to management.
