Job summary

You will work onsite in Nutrition Services and collaborate with the dietitians and medical staff to ensure safety and quality in feeding preparation.

The role requires strong math, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Strong math and computation skills; able to perform precise feeding orders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills when communicating with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Ability to collaborate with dietitians, nurses, and medical staff; manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar; experience with EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, label, and distribute enteral nutrition per guidelines.
• Manage storage, receipt, and disposal of human milk per protocols.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in feeding prep areas; comply with standards.
• Verify feeding orders in clinical information systems; generate production lists.
• Calculate and document precise feeding recipes; consult with dietitians as needed.
• Communicate feeding concerns to nurses, dietitians, and medical staff.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with supply management.
• Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
• Assist in Room Service Call Center by processing diet orders and guiding meal selections.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient and operational data.
