Qualifications

3–5 years of electrician experience, preferably in healthcare.
0–2 years as a journeyman planning work and working unsupervised.

Responsibilities

Maintains and repairs electrical systems, equipment, and wiring per hospital codes and regulations.
Ensures proper functioning of emergency power systems, including backup generators and UPS.
Installs and maintains lighting, HVAC systems, and electrical panels.
Conducts regular inspections and preventative maintenance of electrical systems.
Troubleshoots issues, diagnoses malfunctions, and performs repairs promptly.
Tests systems and circuits using specialized equipment for safety and operation.
Complies with NEC, local codes, and hospital safety standards.
Maintains infection control and safety protocols in patient care areas.
Keeps clear records of work, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Collaborates with facilities team and contractors to ensure quality and safety.
