The Electrician will perform preventative maintenance, respond to outages, and collaborate with facilities teams to support emergency repairs and routine tasks, while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• 0-2 years as a journeyman planning work and working unsupervised.

Responsabilités

• Maintains and repairs electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in accordance with hospital codes and regulations.
• Ensures proper functioning of emergency power systems, including backup generators and UPS systems.
• Installs and maintains lighting systems, HVAC systems, and electrical panels throughout the facility.
• Conducts regular inspections to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues, diagnoses malfunctions, and performs repairs promptly.
• Tests electrical systems and circuits to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Complies with NEC, local codes, and hospital safety standards.
• Maintains records of work performed, inspections, and maintenance activities.
