Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE seeks an Electrician to maintain and improve electrical systems across the campus, including lighting, power distribution and generators. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install new circuits, and respond to outages to keep safety and operations uninterrupted.

The role requires at least 5 years as a DE-licensed master or journeyman, with potential to obtain the DE license within a year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a DE-licensed master or journeyman electrician.
• Must be able to obtain DE electrician's license within one year of hire.
• Strong systems acumen and troubleshooting prowess.
• Independent problem solver with task and project completion.
• Effective communicator with a technical/process mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality electrical service, including lighting, power equipment, distribution, motors and generators throughout the hospital campus.
• Perform and troubleshoot preventive and corrective maintenance on power distribution, ATS, emergency switchgear, feeders and generators.
• Install new circuits, wiring, and equipment.
• Respond to emergency system breakdowns and outages.
• Support electrical demand management and coordinate with outside contractors.
• Oversee maintenance work and assist other trade technicians as required.
