Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA seeks an Electrician to perform maintenance, installation and testing of electrical systems. The role requires a Master Electrician license and a strong background in high and low voltage equipment, emergency power generation, and UPS systems.

You will review project documents, guide a team of electricians, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety rules. Applicants should have the ability to read blueprints and work with computers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Master Electrician License and HS diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience as a Master Electrician with electronics, motor control, and high/low voltage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and equipment specifications.
• Able to read, understand, and interpret blueprints; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective maintenance, and new installations of all electrical systems.
• Review construction documents to ensure proper interface with existing systems.
• Instruct and oversee electricians to follow safety rules and proper techniques.
• Follow NEC guidelines and perform testing of emergency generation equipment.
• Assist in managing UPS systems and interface with regulators for compliance.
• Monitor vendor activities and participate in department trainings.
