Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health, is seeking an Electrician to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of hospital electrical systems. The role covers power distribution, generators, fire alarm interfaces, and emergency systems across the campus.

The position is full-time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week, with DE electrician license required or the ability to obtain within one year. Prior hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Accredited trade/vocational school training in commercial electrical systems.
• 5+ years as a DE-licensed master or journeyman electrician (or ability to obtain within a year).
• Strong systems acumen with troubleshooting skills.
• Service-oriented, responsive maintenance approach.
• Independent problem solver with ability to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical systems including lighting, power equipment, generators.
• Troubleshoot preventive and corrective maintenance on distribution systems and emergency gear.
• Install new circuits, wiring, and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and power outages.
• Coordinate with contractors and assist other trades.
• Support campus electrical demand management.
• Oversee and coordinate electrician-focused construction activities.
