• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Job Description

As a Hospital Dispatch Officer in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a hospital setting, you will support daily security operations by monitoring designated areas, coordinating communications, responding to calls for assistance, and providing support to dispatch operations as needed. You will help maintain awareness of activity throughout the facility, communicate important information to security personnel and hospital staff, document incidents accurately, and assist with maintaining a safe and orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
