Job summary

AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is seeking a Dishroom Operator to support Food & Nutrition Services by maintaining sanitation and proper handling of serviceware, patient trays, and meal delivery equipment. You will help ensure safe, efficient operations and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires standing and lifting in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including cart transports, inventory, and collaboration with the nutrition team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service, healthcare, or related field preferred.
• Food Handler Certificate preferred or required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operates dishwashing equipment and sanitizes items.
• Delivers patient meal trays accurately and timely.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dishroom and equipment.
• Monitors sanitation logs and chemical concentrations.
• Restocks dishes and serviceware to storage locations.
• Supports tray line operations and patient meal production.
