Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a food service associate to prepare and plate meals for patients, follow standardized recipes, and ensure quality and safety throughout the shift.

You will stock pantries, deliver trays, and maintain clean, organized work areas while recording temperatures and managing inventory. The role requires basic math, good customer service, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred.
• 1+ year of food service experience in hospitality or healthcare (preferred).
• Must have basic math skills and be able to communicate in English.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items per recipes and production requirements.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments; track inventory.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record temperatures, and deliver trays to patients with proper IDs and isolation protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment; follow safety concentrations.
• Operate dish room equipment and cafe registers; process transactions and monitor sanitation logs.
