Job summary

DASCO is seeking a Hospital Liaison to serve hospital clients as an expert resource and service‑oriented partner in patient discharge planning and DME fulfillment. The role coordinates equipment delivery to the hospital and to patients at home.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred associate’s degree. Candidates should have healthcare/customer service experience and strong communication skills to ensure smooth transitions and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Six months’ experience in healthcare/medical/insurance/DME customer service role.

Responsibilities

  • Attend daily discharge planning meetings and relay patient needs to staff for benefits verification and inventory.
  • Meet with patient/family/caregiver to review discharge and equipment needs.
  • Deliver equipment to patient rooms and educate on use, care and maintenance; complete paperwork and answer questions.
  • Maintain knowledge of home medical equipment and DASCO products and services.
  • Manage consignment accounts, including inventory and paperwork; support cost-reduction goals.
  • Support branch operations (inventory, records, reporting) with HIPAA and healthcare regulations compliance.
  • Foster relationships with hospital partnership team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the branch office manager.
