Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Services Manager to lead the hospital kitchen team, development of menus, purchasing, production, and service. You will manage the dietary department budget, train staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

The role emphasizes leadership in a clinical setting, ensuring patient and customer service excellence, and flexibility to cover dietary aide or cook duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager Certification required.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Background Check, Drug Screen, and Professional References required for employment.
• Must have active NC Driver's License free of major infractions.
• Must be willing/able to step in to cover Dietary Aide and/or Cook as needed.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of Kitchen function and staff.
• Plan, direct, and control menu development, purchasing, production and service.
• Manage dietary department operating budget through cost-control procedures.
