Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and serving for patients and staff across hospital dining areas. You will perform routine kitchen tasks including cleaning and dishwashing, and provide support as needed in the kitchen environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior dietary or food service experience, with a preference for hospital or healthcare settings. A valid driver’s license is also desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dietary aid experience.
• Prefer food service experience preferably in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals for patients and staff.
• Serve food to patients and staff on units or in the dining area.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks (cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes, pots and pans).
• Provide support wherever there is a need in the kitchen.
