Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) seeks a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and serving for patients and staff on units or in the general dining area.

You will perform routine kitchen tasks, including washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen, and support wherever there is a need in the kitchen. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior dietary aid or food service experience, preferably in hospital or healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dietary aid experience preferred.
• Food service experience in hospital/healthcare/hospitality settings preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and serve meals to patients and staff.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks including cleaning the kitchen and washing dishes, pots and pans.
• Provide support wherever there is a need in the kitchen.
