Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and serving for patients and staff across hospital dining areas. You will perform routine kitchen tasks including cleaning and dishwashing, and provide support as needed in the kitchen environment.
The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior dietary or food service experience, with a preference for hospital or healthcare settings. A valid driver’s license is also desirable.
The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation of the meals in the kitchen and serving the food to patients and staff on the units or in the general dining area as well. This person will also perform routine kitchen task, such as cleaning the kitchen and washing dishes, pots and pans. The dietary aid will also assist in providing support wherever there is a need in the kitchen.
