Falmouth Hospital Association in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Dietary Assistant to set up patient trays, assemble cold foods, and assist with kitchen duties. You will clean work areas, inventory perishables, and help deliver meals according to menus and diet instructions.

The role requires basic English literacy, ability to follow directions, and a willingness to work early shifts and weekends as scheduled.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and assemble cold food items in accordance with census and hospital specifications.
• Set up patient trays according to menus and diet instructions; assist with delivery of trays when needed and return trays to dietary after meals.
• Supply floor pantries with needed listed food items. Clean pantries and clean and defrost refrigerators as assigned. Make and deliver requested between-meal nourishments.
• Assist in dish room with de-traying, dishwashing, and storage of clean dish items.
• Take fruit and vegetable inventory twice weekly, as assigned.
• Make coffee for Hospital meetings. Sets up hospital functions under supervision of the Food Service Manager or designee.
• Sweep and mop Kitchen, walk in, and storeroom floors daily.
• Other general cleaning as assigned.
• Wash pots, pans and utensils, and help with vegetable prep.
• Completes production for all dietary needs.
