Ideal candidates will have a Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate within 30 days of start; HS diploma or GED is preferred and healthcare food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• State of Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate Program required within 30 days of start.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate the room service call center and answer patient meal orders over the phone.
• Enter meal orders into the CBORD system for transmission to the room service line.
• Be familiar with menu offerings, diet variations, and physician-prescribed diets.
