Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Diet Clerk at Elmhurst Hospital to operate the room service call center, take patient meal orders, and enter orders into the CBORD system. Shifts rotate M-F 5:00 AM–7:00 PM with rotating weekends and holidays; per diem as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification: State of Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) required within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Operate the room service call center and answer patient meal orders.
• Enter meal orders into the CBORD system for transmission to the room service line.
• Be familiar with all menu offerings, diet variations, and physician-prescribed diets
