Job summary

Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Certified Dialysis Technician to provide acute hemodialysis treatment for hospitalized patients. The role reports to the Dialysis Program Manager or Supervisor and involves operation and monitoring of dialysis systems, patient data collection, and coordination with nursing staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CMS or state certification, CPR and BLS. Expect travel around 20% and pay in the shown hourly range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dialysis Technician Certification required or state/national equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and patient data during dialysis.
• Set up, monitor dialysis machines and RO water system.
• Respond to alarms and perform safety checks.
• Prime dialyzers and monitor the delivery system.
• Coordinate with Nursing staff for treatment planning.
• Maintain cleanliness and document procedures.
• Dismantle and disinfect equipment.
• Notify Biomed and supervisor of equipment issues.
