Qualifications

• Ability to clean and maintain assigned areas following procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and proper care of floor machines.
• Ability to apply cleaning methods in special areas per guidelines.
• General knowledge of emergency equipment.
• Ability to work harmoniously with staff and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose solid waste and soiled linen per infection control policies.
• Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping and carpet care with appropriate equipment.
• General cleaning of offices, rooms, labs, restrooms and patient areas.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and proper labeling of chemicals.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends/holidays as needed.
