Qualifications

• Physical stamina: Lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 45 pounds occasionally.
• Communication: Talk with patients and coworkers clearly and respectfully.
• Adaptability: Adjust to changing schedules, tasks, and needs during the day.
• Computer skills: Use email and the internet for basic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, and scrub floors, and apply floor finish.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and bathing areas, including fixtures and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect furniture such as beds, desks, tables, and chairs.
• Run, clean, and take care of custodial equipment and supplies.
• Check supply closets and restock them when needed.
• Check for safety hazards and report them.
• Keep custodial closets clean and organized.
