Responsibilities

• Clean patient living areas, restrooms, offices, and hospital spaces.
• Disinfect surfaces, remove trash, and follow procedures for handling hazardous waste and chemical spills.
• Wash walls, ceilings, windows, and floors using custodial equipment.
• Operate tools and machines such as vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, pressure washers, and carpet extractors.
• Load soiled linens, distribute clean linens, mark clothing for identification, and meet area supply quotas.
• Follow safety procedures and apply proper chemical handling guidelines with PPE.
