Endeavor Health is seeking a dedicated Courier in Arlington Heights, IL. You will transport specimens, reports, and supplies between hospitals and offices, operate hospital-owned vehicles safely, and maintain vehicle readiness.

The role requires a valid Illinois driver’s license, 6–12 months of courier experience, and the ability to manage records and communicate with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or four (4) years of equivalent work experience.
• Skills: Willing to learn, be dependable, reliable, emotionally stable, pay attention to details, and able to perform functions outlined in physical requirements.
• Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of route delivering or courier driving experience.
• Certification: Valid Illinois Class D driver’s license; clean driving record meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Transports specimens, reports and supplies between hospital sites and offices.
• Operates hospital-owned vehicles safely and follows traffic regulations.
• Performs pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintains a clean vehicle and reports issues to management.
• Notifies supervisor of driving infractions or license issues.
• Provides courier service to assigned routes and ensures delivery/pickup of items.
• Communicates with dispatcher and Laboratory staff to ensure quality patient care.
