PeaceHealth is seeking a Cook for a Per Diem/Relief position. The salary range is $23.53 – $36.75 per hour. The position follows HACCP guidelines to prepare meals for hospital patients, staff, volunteers and visitors.

Responsibilities include following recipes, preparing hot and cold foods, maintaining sanitation, organizing production, and keeping required records. A high school diploma and a Food Handlers Card (Oregon) are required/preferred; professional culinary certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a cook in a hospital or full-service kitchen.
• Food Handlers Card – Oregon is required.

Responsabilités

• Accurately follow and prepare recipes.
• Prepare hot and cold food according to recipes and production guidelines.
• Maintain proper food handling and sanitize workstation.
• Organize, calculate, and produce food production.
• Maintain records according to regulatory and departmental standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
